The card resides into the PCI slot of the server with the series of cards connected via slim CAT5 cable. Distances between the management card and last remote can span up to 360 feet allowing for great flexibility within the data center. The PCI KVM switch is an ideal solution for those customers with cable management issues within the rack or for configurations with eight or more servers per rack.
