This is a 4 100Base-FX port with SC connectors for 100MBPS operation over 1300NM multimode fiber-optic cable. It’s ready to operate as soon as it is installed. The auto-configuration allows a default configuration that works well for most networks. This switch complies with IEEE 802.3U 100Base-FX standard. Link and ode LED’s for every port provide information on link status, network activity, connection bandwidth, and communication mode. This switch is compatible with ProCurve 8000M, 4000M and 16000M.
